The area of dreams that have interested me would be surrealist dreams. The reasoning behind it is because I feel I can do good some good work with that in mind and it will give me a chance to learn new skills on photoshop as I do the work.
There are many many ways of defining dreams, an example is what you see (imagen) when you are unconscious (asleep). There are different types of dreams in that sense, there are prophetic dreams, nightmares, lucid dreams, common dream (depending on the person) and recurring dreams. Another definition of dreams is what you aspire to be in the future for example; what is your dream job? The final type of dream is daydream.
A prophetic dream is a type of dream where a group of people believes it holds religious value.
Nightmare is a type of dream where you see (imagen) your fears when you are asleep, this may be different for people depending on what their fears are.
Lucid dreams are a type of dream where you know that you are dreaming, This is something that you have to learn to do for example you teach yourself to see or do something and if you see/do that then you will be able to control your dream but it takes time, It takes ‘2-6 weeks on average’ according to HowToLucid.
A common dream is a type of dream that is common amongst people, for example falling or being chased by someone. People can have different adaptations of common dreams.
A recurring dream is where the dream repeats itself. According to a questionnaire that I conducted 43% for people say they that their recurring dreams are not consistent, 28% of people say that their recurring dreams are somewhat consistent and another 28% of people have an alternate consistency with there recurring dreams.

Another definition of dreams is what you aspire to be in the future.
The final definition of a dream is a daydream, daydreaming is an act of getting lost in your thoughts, this mostly happens when you are trying to sleep or are bored. Another definition of daydreams, which I have found from Wikipedia – ‘Daydreaming is a short-term detachment from one’s immediate surroundings, during which a person’s contact with reality is blurred and partially substituted by a visionary fantasy, especially one of happy, pleasant thoughts, hopes or ambitions, imagined as coming to pass, and experienced while awake.’ There is also a health risk with daydreaming which I have found on EveryDayHealth – ‘If your job consists of operating heavy machinery, daydreaming can even beharmful to your health if you allow it to reduce your concentration. Daydreaming also be harmful to your mental health if you are constantly having negative thoughts.’
Dreams occur when we are sleeping. When you are asleep your brain is still active and the emotion centres of the brain trigger dreams that’s why most dreams are not logical. Most times dreams are based on your recent actions.
Dreams are perceived differently but some people believe that dreams have a hidden meaning. Some people also believe that dreams have a religious meaning behind it.
Dreams are visualised in the media via photography, Films, TV shows, and Music videos. Some examples of these are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Ronen Goldman, BOJACK HORSEMAN’S BAD TRIP and Rizzle Kicks – Dreamers.

The reality of technology is the name of my project which will be in the style of surrealist photography, this because I want to show technology for the harm it does in a surreal style with photography. My project will be in this type of style:

This is a rough idea of what I would like to do, I will be distorting the image on the phone compared to he one its looking at. I am going to doing research on surreal dreams and with what I find I will use it to develop my ideas and my photos.
